Quick cashew mayonnaise

2 1/2 Tbsp. arrowroot or cornstarch
1 c. water
1 c. cashews
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. onion powder


1. Add arrowroot to a small amount of cold water and mix thoroughly
2. Add remaining water and bring to a boil stirring constantly.
3. Removing from heat soon as it thickens.
4. Whiz remaining ingredients until smooth, then add arrowroot mixture and whiz just until blended.
